Terms of Service

By using BKKD you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree to any part of them, don’t use the service.

BKKD is a freelance booking management platform. It helps freelancers track holds, confirmed bookings, projects, and communications with their clients. BKKD is a scheduling and organizational tool. It is not a contract administrator, payment processor, or legal intermediary between you and your clients.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Provide accurate information when signing up and keep it current. Accounts are for individual use. Don’t share login credentials.

Don’t use BKKD to harass, defame, or harm anyone. Don’t attempt to break, reverse-engineer, or otherwise interfere with the service. Don’t use BKKD for activity that violates applicable law. We may suspend accounts that do.

Your use of BKKD is also governed by our Privacy Policy. In short: we don’t sell your data, ever. You can export or delete your data at any time from inside the app.

BKKD is currently free during beta. Paid plans are planned for future release. When pricing launches, terms will be clearly disclosed in advance and we’ll notify users by email and in-app before any charges. Continued use of paid features after pricing takes effect constitutes acceptance of the published prices at that time.

BKKD aims for high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free access. We may modify, add, or remove features. Material changes that reduce functionality will be communicated in advance where reasonably possible.

You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Profile. Account deletion follows a 30-day grace window during which the action can be cancelled; after that, all booking, client, document, and event data is permanently removed. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

BKKD is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BKKD and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim (during beta, that amount is zero).

We may update these terms over time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice prior to taking effect. Continued use of BKKD after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or use of BKKD shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
